PUBLIC NOTICE - AMERICAN TOWNSHIP The American Township Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing on WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 11, 2024 at 7:00PM, at the American Township Administration Building, 102 Pioneer Road, Elida, Ohio. The purpose of this hearing is that an Application for Conditional Use Permit has been submitted by Project Bosc c/o Jill Tangeman, Esq., 52 E. Gay Street, Columbus, Ohio on behalf of Neff Farms Inc., 11951 Zerkle Road, Lima, Ohio 45806. This is for the proposed manufacturing / industrial construction of a data center complex, comprising three-3 data storage units, a main office and security building. This will be located on parcels #36-1200-02-001.000 & #36-1200-02-001.001 which is located on North Cole Street, North of Beery Road, and South of Irvin Road, in American Township consisting of 162.5 acres of vacant land, and zoned as M-2 Manufacturing land use. Allen County Auditor describes land usage as 199-other agr. use qual CAUV, and 110 AG vacant land qualified CAUV. In accordance with American Township Zoning Resolution, Article 11.2.-Manufacturing M-2 Zoned Districts - Conditional uses with the approval by the township board of zoning appeals after a public hearing, specifically 11.2.3 - Any industrial / manufacturing, storage, or distribution established not specifically mentioned above deemed acceptable by the Board of Zoning Appeals.
